Whitney Houston died at age 48 at a hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday, February 11, a day before the 2012 Grammy Awards, whose producers are already planning a tribute to the iconic singer.

Houston's body was found inside a bathtub in a room on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California, OnTheRedCarpet.com has learned.

Investigators for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office worked on the scene to find the cause of her death as celebrities poured into the building for a pre-Grammy gala that Houston was supposed to attend. Producer Clive Davis, her mentor, dedicated the event to her (see photos). The Coroner's Office workers transferred Houston's body out of the building early on Sunday.

Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen said authorities received a 911 call from hotel security at 3:43 p.m. There were "no obvious signs of foul play and no obvious signs of a cause of death," he said.

"Upon arrival, first responders discovered Whitney Houston unresponsive," police said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. "They initiated CPR, but were unable to revive her. At approximately 3:55 p.m. Whitney Houston, age 48 was pronounced dead at the scene."

"Whitney Houston was positively identified at the scene by members of her entourage which included friends, co-workers and family," the statement added."Ms. Houston's daughter and mother were notified of her death."

Police would not say if any drugs or alcohol were found in the room. The pop, soul and R&B singer had struggled with substance abuse for years. She relapsed and returned to rehab in May.

Houston was set to perform on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton at a pre-Grammy gala for producer Clive Davis, who discovered her. The event took place as scheduled. A crime lab bus was seen parked outside as guests gathered inside the building. Davis and scheduled performer R&B singer Alicia Keys embraced in front of the vehicle.

Memulakan weekend ni dengan jalan-jalan di Nilai. Petang Jumaat balik keje terus ikut En. Anuar ke tapak event. Kali ni projek di Dataran Nilai anjuran Kopsukma. Petang tu aktiviti agak busan lah sebab event baru nak set up so aku tido je dalam kereta. Biasa dah...kalau aku follow dia g event samada aku jalan2 sambil abeskan duit, makan atau pun duduk je dalam kereta baca novel dan tido.

Anyway menjelang malam suasana makin happening. Jadi aku round untuk shoot gambar lah, untuk tambahan dalam profile company.

Sabtu malam Ahad

Aku baru lepas makan kuey teow goreng. Aku masak tau...sebab En. Anuar ade event di Dataran Nilai. Kaitannya? Sebab kalau dia ada aku kene masak benda lain la. Sebab dia tak makan kuey teow, atas sebab-sebab yang masih misteri. Hahaha.

Entry aku yg lepas, dapat komen dari Uncle Muka Stone yg blognya giler cool, katanya blog ni dh nyaris berhantu sbb last post 31 Januari...hehehhee. Cepat-cepat aku cari akal nk wat entry. Mari mengaranglah gamaknya.

Weekend ni cuti bersambung hingga Selasa. Ingat nk balik kampung, tp banyak pulak benda nk diselesaikan. Hantaran untuk adik aku satu pun belum siap. Idea tkde lg ni. Ni lah bahananya kalau biasa buat keje last minute. Awal2 idea mmg tk mari.

Ada gak plan nk g holiday mana-mana. Percutian domestik aje la. Tapi alahai entah la. Semua tgh takde jiwa sekarang ni. 

Apapun SALAM MAULIDUR RASUL pada semua umat Nabi Muhammad SAW. Semoga aku dapat secebis pun jadi lah jiwa Nabi. Jauhhhhh lagi rasanya kan?

Januari 2012

Sebenarnya memang takde benda nk cerita pun. Tapi sebulan dah habis utk 2012 ni. Bulan ni masa banyak uruskan pindah-memindah barang dari umah Bangi ke Perak sebab officially umi n walid aku dah pindah sana. Pencen kan, balik kampung lah. Walaupun aku rasa macam tk perlu pun nak pindah. Tapi itu memang plan diorg....kami adik-beradik sokong je. Adik bongsu aku akan menyusul utk tinggal di sana.

Anyway...tadi baru je selesai Hari Inovasi institut di Mines Wellness Hotel. Layan gambar aje lah.

Okay....gua cuti lg. Ngalahkan org yg sambut raya okay. Takpe lah. Pak Najib musti suka. Sebab aku 1Malaysia. Org lain raya, aku sebok cuti siap balik kampung. Oh cuti ini aku meng"hadap" menatang baru. Apakah? Yerrr....mau try buat bunga dip...(kelasssssssss ko Jah!). Cari idea...mari...mari...mana kau idea. Susah jugak. Otak kat opis (giler rajin) (read- giler malas sebab banyak kijo tk siap).

Anyway, carilah idea yer. Gua kene buat dua set ni. Belah pompuan n belah lelaki. Gambar di bawah adalah stok angan-angan gua.

Wah 5 kali sudah....kalau ikutkan inilah lecture series yg paling panjang tempohnya setiap kali penganjuran..iaitu 5 hari. Tp tak kesah pun, sbb selalunya speakers semuanya SEMPOI!. Compared to the OTHER group tu, bikin gua serabut aje. Hehehehe..(macam aku hot sangat, padahal tolong wat keje2 buruh kasar je..kehkehkeh).
